 Happy 40th birthday My sweet, sweet Lea, how I love you, only you can know. I love you to the deepest part of me in a depth that has no end. I feel you are always with me giving me courage to face this life without you. Today is your 40 th birthday, how I wish you were here to celebrate it with your family and friends. What do I write on a day like today? It's so hard to find the words that would make it perfect because I always want you to feel the love I have for you on any occasion. Your life on earth stopped at 33 years old and now you would have turned 40. How can I interpret that? All I know is that your friends turned 40 and it's just a beautiful transition to the next step in life to learn life lessons and to grow as a human being. I just know you had grown beyond your years and you were ready to face life challenges at any age. I love you my sweet child. You are in my heart and I will never let you go. I wish I knew what you are up to now, but I trust you are in a good and happy place waiting for us to join you some day. Daddy and I love you so much. We send you our love, beyond words, it comes from another dimension; a place we can feel you with us.. It is so immensely full of love and light. It was a beautiful sunny day, around 6:30 P.M. Daddy and I went to St Mary's hospital. It was during the hospital strike, the maternity ward was so full. You came into this world at 1:07 A.M. in the morning at 6 lbs 5 ounces. You were so beautiful, calm and serene with curly blonde hair. From the moment they placed you in my arms you snuggled right into my heart. Daddy and I were so proud. You were like a little angel sent from God to make our life so fulfilled. You changed our life with an everlasting imprint that will be alive in us forever. You brought us to that special place everyone looks for in life, you let us find our strength in love. When we brought you home we knew that the love we felt for you was the greatest love you can feel here on earth. Throughout the years you grew to be kind, loving and gentle. You cared about everyone you touched with your special gift of caring and unconditional love. To the love of our life we embrace you and we want you to know that you are and will always be our greatest treasure in this world. We miss you so much it hurts all the time. You are the presence when I take a walk in nature. You are everywhere around me, I feel you near me all the time. Most of the birthdays we celebrated at your house turned out to be the hottest day of the year, just like today. No matter how hot and muggy the day was, it always turned out perfect. The heat didn't seem to matter, your mom tended to every detail to make everyone comfortable and well fed.
